The detector consists of a light emitter and a light receiver.
The light emitter emits a bunched infrared beam that is scattered back to the light emitter by the prism-shaped reflector.
The receiver converts the received infrared signal into an electrical signal that is evaluated by microprocessor controlled electronics.
Smoke entering the measuring section weakens the infrared signal.
When the signal reaches the predefined measurement values, the detector transmits the relevant danger level to the control unit.
Distance measurement for foreign matter recognition.
Built-in alarm indicator reports alarm status locally.
Different reflectors are available for various distances.
The optic can be efficiently adjusted to the reflector with one-handed alignment via the FDLU291 adjustment device.
The FDLB291 base must be ordered separately.
